Welcome to Amber Denae Today

I’m Amber Denae Wright (formerly Prout-Jones) and I live in Cape Town, South Africa (I am originally from Johannesburg).

I went to school at St Mary’s Waverley and studied Accounting at Wits.  I spent the last 6 years training to be a CA but decided to completely change the course of my life and instead follow a passion of mine.  So I am now an Interior Designer at Cécile & Boyd. (I know what you are thinking, and yes it is a MASSIVE change but one that is bringing me so much joy!)

I am the oldest of 3 girls (yes, my poor Father) and I am now married to my very own Mr Wright.

I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to have done a lot of it in my life.  I am passionate about fashion and love a good pair of heels and the right amount of bling.  I’d always rather be overdressed than under-dressed.

I’m a Scuba Diver, Game Ranger and I represented South Africa at the Touch Rugby World Cup in Australia in 2015.  So I guess you could say that I like to dabble in a bit of everything…And also my Dad wanted sons…So there’s that too!

I’m not an expert on anything and definitely don’t have it all figured out but I hope this blog will allow me to share my thoughts with you and give you some insight into what goes on inside of my usually stressed out mind.  I’ll also share some of my favourite #OOTD pictures with you.
